I’m a Pittsburgh-based writer and audio producer with more than a decade of experience in environmental sustainability. My journalism, audio work and literary writing have appeared with Vox, New Hampshire Public Radio, 90.5 WESA, Allegheny Front, The Texas Observer and The Rumpus.

Before moving to Pittsburgh, I directed sustainability for an affordable housing nonprofit in Austin, Texas, where I led the installation of a megawatt of solar power. I traveled nationally as an invited speaker and my work was recognized by the city with a Net Zero Hero award.

Now, as a writer and audio producer, I love geeky stories about stormwater and city policy as much as I love intimate ones about the body. Listen to my audio documentary In Pittsburgh, where the geeky and intimate collide in a story about industrial air pollution and being a new parent.
